Another good experience with BTSE. In response to my worries about a scale infestation, I got a visit in short order from nice arborist Marc Hansen. We walked around to assess things and discuss a plan of action. The next morning(!) a truck appeared and my tree received a soil injection and the first of two planned sprays. This is unusually fast, of course, but my tree's case is pretty dire. I appreciate the rapid response!

These guys are the best. We very sadly had to take down an 80-year-old Norway Maple in our Charlestown backyard, which involved a lot of guys and one very large crane. As always, very responsive and on top of things. Hendrik was great to deal with, as well as Ryan and the rest of the crew. They took down some blight-infested apple trees (so sad to see them go, as they were here many moons before I bought the house, and the birds loved them), pruned hemlocks, etc., and took down some HUGE old oak tree limbs. They worked so long and hard that I felt that I should have paid them more. They later came back to replace the old trees with new cherry trees. I'd always use Barrett, and you should too.

We have had Barrett Tree Service East keep our mature trees—some over 80 years old—healthy and trimmed for several years now. Ryan Andrews helped us rescue an 80-year-old Japanese maple after a dry and extremely varied temperature winter. Barrett has also helped keep our 30-foot yews trimmed back so that their boughs don't break with the weight of heavy snowfalls. Ryan is responsive to questions and will often come out to assess a problem in person.
