During the application process, an independent auditor inspected BTSE for proper insurance, applicable licenses, reliable and ethical customer service practices, and strict operating standards. The renewal ensures the company continues to employ and trains its tree care professionals, is properly insured, maintains a good safety and consumer satisfaction rating. The review confirms companies can provide documented evidence of formal employee training programs, adherence to safety and quality standards, compliance with industry standards, and employment of best business practices.

The 3-year Accreditation achievement demonstrates that Barrett Tree Service East, Inc. has undergone an extensive review of practices as well as a site visit, and adheres to all accreditation standards. BTSE is the only locally-owned tree care company in the area to obtain TCIA Accreditation.
