Tree Care in Somerville, MA

Barrett Tree Services first office was opened in Somerville in 2007. Long before us ,Somerville’s hills were once covered with farms and apple orchards which provided Boston and beyond with fruit and dairy. In the last century, Somerville’s orchards were cleared and the hills have been developed into one the most densely populated cities in the country.

In response to the dense building cover and limited green space brought by a century of development, Somerville residents and officials have recently re-invested in preserving Somerville’s existing trees and planting for the future. Barrett Tree Service has been working with municipal officials and private property owners to further this goal of healthier, safer greenspace.
