Greater Boston is where we live and work. Our team understands the trees, landscapes, soils, pests and growing conditions unique to the communities we serve.

Trust comes from knowing the people caring for your property are qualified, invested in the outcome and willing to give you a straightforward recommendation, even when the answer is to do less.

The question isn't simply whether a tree can be removed. It's whether it can reasonably and safely remain, what it would take to preserve it and whether doing so makes sense for you and your property.

Certification provides a professional foundation. A Certified Arborist has demonstrated professional knowledge and experience in arboriculture and must maintain that credential through continuing education. At BTSE, we build on that through continued education, field experience and specialists across arboriculture, plant health, safety, lawn care and related disciplines.

For our clients, that means the people making recommendations and carrying out the work have both professional knowledge and the expertise of a larger team behind them.

Good pruning starts with an objective and a prescription to achieve it. The right approach depends on the particular tree or plant, its age, structure, condition and what we're trying to accomplish. That may mean improving structure, reducing risk, providing clearance or preserving the character of a mature tree.
