Safety isn't a component, it's the Certification

ctspBarrett Tree Service East is committed to fostering a culture of safety for our company and crews.  In addition to Certified Arborist designations and other advanced degrees, our crew leaders are Certified Treecare Safety Professionals (CTSP).  Most recently, Brendan Conaway and Alden Johnson recertified as CTSP's. As the only safety credentialing program in the industry, Tree Care Industry Association’s (TCIA) CTSP program is designed to directly address the safety challenges that arborists face.  CTSP allows key employees to become tree care safety experts, thereby empowering and encouraging our culture of safety through leadership, hazard control and prevention, incident control and prevention, and continuing education.

Maintaining Certified Treecare Safety Professionals on staff means that BTSE is committed to the highest level safe practices in arboricultural operations. CTSP is the only safety credentialing program specifically designed for workers in the tree care industry. According to TCIA, companies with CTSP's on staff are more than 10 times less likely to suffer loss workdays compared to companies that do not. CTSP’s must commit to ongoing education in the safety and risk mitigation field to maintain certification.

Barrett Tree Service East is committed to fostering a culture of safety and hold weekly meetings to directly address the safety challenges that arborists face.

The CTSP program helps to reduce work-related injuries and completion of the program demonstrates BTSE's commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of all our employees.  Clients can be assured that working with us ensures a safe, professional jobsite operated by highly skilled, professional arborists.
